Judy (Williams) Tucker, a beacon of love and care in her community, passed away peacefully in the company of family on June 14, 2025, in
Mahopac, NY, at the age of 71. Born on April 11, 1954, in
Mahopac, NY, to the late Edward and Joyce (Curley) Williams, Judy's life was a testament to the power of compassion, dedication and love.
Judy's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her profession. She was the cherished wife of Paul Tucker, and together they built a life filled with love and mutual respect. Judy was a loving mother to Lori & husband, Ricky Dinges and Cora & husband, Chris Paulson, and she took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Samantha Faircloth (Levi), Joe Mulvaney, Stephen French, Blake Dinges, Dylan Paulson, Gemma Dinges, Jaxson Dinges, and Jayce Paulson. Her grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A graduate of Mahopac High School and the B.O.C.E.S. Nursing Program, Judy dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Somers Manor Nursing Home in Somers, NY. Her gentle touch and warm smile brought comfort to many, and her laugh was infectious.
She is survived by her loving brother, Randy Williams, and was preceded in death by her siblings Sandy Allen, Ronny, and Edward (Skippy) Williams. Judy's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and the enduring power of family bonds.
As Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose; all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Judy's love for her family and her passion for nursing have indeed become a part of all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends and the many lives she touched with her nurturing spirit.
Judy Tucker will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she loved. Her spirit, encapsulated by her love for her family and her dedication to her work, will remain an inspiration to all.
