Kay Lynn Rogers, 74, of Bluefield, WV, passed Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House, in Beckley, WV.
Born November 3, 1950, in Havre De Grace, MD, she was a daughter of the late Robert James and Thelma Jourdan Brown. Kay was a resident of Bluefield for over 50 years and was a member of the Cumberland Road Church of God. She also retired from Walmart in Bluefield, VA.'
Those left to cherish Kay's memory are her husband, Michael Rogers of the home; son, Matthew Wagner and wife Teresa of Princeton, WV; brothers, William Brown and wife Patti of Princeton, WV, and Robert Brown, Jr. and wife Alicia of Lexington, NC; sister, Carol Brown Agee and husband John of Thomasville, NC; four grandchildren, Thomas Rogers, Chandler Wagner, Caden Wagner, and Kaitlyn Wagner; and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved and cherished as her own.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at Cumberland Road Church of God, 3401 E Cumberland Road, Bluefield, WV, 24701, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Travis Helmandollar officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA, with Thomas Rogers, Caden Wagner, DaCoda Walker, Austin Agee, Bradley Brown, Adam Nuckols, K. C. Cline, Braxton Agee, Travis Agee, and Trey Brown serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church.
