Kenneth "Kenny" A. Kohl Jr., age 51, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was born in Canton on July 13, 1973, the son of Margaret and Ken Kohl, Sr. Kenny was a lifelong resident of Canton and a 1991 graduate of GlenOak High School. He worked as a Walmart associate for the past three years, and prior to that, Kenny worked at St. Luke's Nursing Home for 30 years. Kenny was a very friendly, kind, and funny person who would do anything he could to help anyone. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, loved laughing at The Three Stooges, taking walks, and spending time with friends, neighbors, and family.
Kenny is survived by his father Kenneth A. Kohl, Sr.; sister Tammi (Nick) Kennedy; nephews Michael and Milo Kennedy; and cousins Joy Heestand, Kevun Kohl, and Gretchen and Kurt Sloppy. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret, who recently passed away in June 2024.
Funeral services will be held at Reed Funeral Home (CANTON CHAPEL, Raff Rd.) on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 12:00 pm with Chaplain Amy Downard officiating. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service, from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
