Beloved husband of the late Carol (née Sass) Gillespie, whom he married in the mid-1970s. Loving father of Kevin (Brittany) Gillespie and David Gillespie. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Layne, Jaxsin, Brady, Kali, and Khloe. Dear brother of Tim (Karen) Gillespie, Pat (Beverly) Gillespie and the late Michael Gillespie OSB.
Kevin was a graduate of Aiken High School and spent 45 dedicated years as an optician, was employed by Luxottica for over 45 years.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave, Mt. Healthy 45231 on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Boniface Church, 1750 Chase Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45223 on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Bernard.

Randy Weber, Susan Wesley Brodbeck, and Kevin. We reconnected at The Aiken High School 50 reunion. Besides going to school together we lived in the same neighborhood elementary school thur High School.
Kevin was a good Man. I am thankful we had a nice conversation during the reunion.
