Kevin J. Schapker, 56, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus.

Kevin was born on January 18, 1969, in Evansville to Raymond and Charlene (Folz) Schapker. He worked as a sprinkler fitter and was a member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 669. Kevin was a 1987 graduate of Reitz High School, where he was a standout football and baseball player. Kevin was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed hunting, gardening, and making homemade salsa. Kevin also enjoyed working on cars and, along with his wife Ann-Marie, had restored a 2003 Jeep Wrangler and was working on a 1966 Mustang.

Surviving Kevin are his wife of twelve years, Ann-Marie (Petranek) Schapker; a daughter, Mallory Schapker; stepsons and their wives, Randall and Clara (Adams) Dougan, granddaughter, Valerie Dougan; Matthew and Hannah (Clark) Dougan; parents, Raymond and Charlene (Folz) Schapker; a sister, Rae Ann Titzer; and, brother, Jeff Schapker.

Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Pierre Funeral Home, where there will be an informal service celebrating Kevin's life held at 6:00 PM.
