Heaven gained a new angel on Saturday, November 2, 2024, Linda Marie Bubolz, age 79, passed away at Aspirus Riverview Hospital. She was born on October 30, 1945, in Stevens Point. The daughter of Oliver and Clarice (Hartjes) Peters. Linda attended Rudolph Schools and then graduated from Assumption High School in 1963. She earned her master's degree from UW Stevens Point. Linda married Orville Bubolz on February 5, 1966, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Rudolph where she was a lifelong member and was also in the church choir.
Linda worked for the Wisconsin Rapids School System for her entire career, she worked at Rudolph Elementary School for 37 years until her retirement. Linda and Orville enjoyed travelling, they made many trips over the years to many of the National and State Parks. She also enjoyed casino trips to Laughlin, Nevada. and volunteering at the Performing Arts Center. But most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her many friends.
Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years Orville; her son, Dean Bubolz; her daughter, Kim (Robert) Noble; her grandchildren, Clarice (Ryan) Kase, Daniel Shaw, Casey Shaw, Cade Bubolz and Chayla Bubolz; her brother, Ronald Peters; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Peters, Cheryl (Les) Bliven and Anna Mae Binger; and by her brother-in-law Norman (Elaine) Bubolz. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Ann Marie Bubolz; daughter-in-law Becki Bubolz; brothers Dale Peters, Lee Peters, sisters-in-law, Louise Peters, Louann Bubolz and Lois (Clarence) Peplinski; brothers-in-law David (Rose) Bubolz and Donald Bubolz.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Rudolph with Father Janusz Kowalski presiding. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7, 2024, and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at the church.
