Linda Ruth Scheible, 81, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Linda was born on January 20, 1943, in Carrollton, the beloved daughter of Harold E. and Mildred (Fordham) Stewart. She was united in marriage to Wayne E. Scheible of Norborne on June 2, 1961; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Michael (Traci) Scheible of Liberty and Mark (Tanya) Scheible of Richmond; two granddaughters, Olivia Scheible and Ava Scheible; and brother, John E. Stewart of Carrollton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda was a 1961 graduate from Carrollton High School. She dedicated many years to working for Richmond Commercial Printing. Linda enjoyed going to thrift stores, garage sales, and traveling. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Linda was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor's choice. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Private interment will be in Richmond Memory Gardens. Please remember to share your memories of Linda with the family by visiting www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
