Shelly was born in Chestertown, Maryland on October 15, 1964 to the late Everett and Barbara (Faye) Kinder.
Shelly graduated from Kent County High School. She worked as a waitress at several local restaurants, as a nurses aid, and as a private caregiver. Shelly enjoyed going to the slots and horse races as well as spending time on the beach.
In addition to her parents, Shelly was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Losten. She is survived by her sons, David Freeman, Kyle Freeman (Jessica), Corey Freeman (Alexandra) granddaughters, Karli Stewart and Elsie Freeman, brother Michael Losten (Tammy) and sisters, Gail D. Fellows (Gary), Jackie Pepeta, and Pam Hurlock, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony will be held for family and close friends.
