Muncie – Mark Rex Harrold, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his residence.
He was born in Muncie on October 30, 1948, the son of Howard and Louise (Boyle) Harrold and graduated from Wes-Del High School. Mark then served his country in The United States Army Special Forces.
He worked in sales for many years and ended his career in healthcare. Mark loved photography and yardwork. He was an avid golfer for many years and loved spending time with his family and his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Dianna "Dee" Harrold; his daughters, Darci Williams, Maria Hayes (husband, Brad) and Lisa Ellis (Greg Ellison); grandchildren, Sophia, River and Lucy Williams, Broc and Blake Buckles, Brooks Davidson, Dominic Cantanzarite, Bradon Hayes, Maci Hayes and Mattie Hayes; his mother, Louise Harrold; a sister, Tamara Carmen (husband, Bill); also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Harrold; along with his father.
Services will be 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 7901 West Isanogel Road with Military Honors by The United States Army and the Veterans of Delaware County.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Veterans of Delaware County, 14331 East 350 North, Parker City, Indiana 47368.
