Mary Ann (Lewis) Cullen
July 11, 1942 – July 5, 2024
Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt
Mary Ann (Lewis) Cullen, of Lowell, the beloved wife of late Paul D Cullen, passed away peacefully on Friday July 5, 2024 with her family beside her. Mary Ann was born in Lowell, MA on July 11, 1942 a daughter of the late George & Mary (McDevitt) Lewis. She attended school and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Mary Ann married Paul and celebrated 33 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. Mary Ann was known as the Drug Czar of Lowell, as she was very passionate about teaching drug education and prevention to grades K-8. Raising her two children and having a family was most important to her. Her favorite title in life was "Nana". Her grandchildren & great grandchildren were one of her greatest joys.
Mary Ann is survived by her children Colleen M Cullen of Tyngsboro, MA, Wayne M Cullen of Milford, NH. Her grandchildren Katelyn (Cullen) Fearon, Bethany Cullen, Micaelagh (Cullen) Quiles, Shyheim Cullen, Liam Cullen, and great grandchildren Madeleine, Parker, Kassidy, Ella, Kaiden, Kaillie and Kash. She was also survived by a few of her closest friends, whom she treasured so much.
Her family finds comfort knowing she has finally been reunited with her husband whom she missed and loved deeply.
To respect Mary Ann's wishes, there will be no formal services. She felt that her 80th birthday party was the perfect celebration of her life.
