McStevens Leonard, of Brockton, formerly of Randolph, and affectionately known as "Tou Tou" to those closest to him, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on May 14, 1976, in Boston, he was a beacon of joy and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The beloved son of Maliza Leonard of Brockton, Tou Tou grew up in the embrace of a close-knit family. He was a devoted brother to Karen Lareste of Raynham and Dino Jerome of Taunton, and a loving father to Cameron Leonard of Weymouth. He brought light and laughter as a cherished uncle to Kyle Jean-Michel and twins Zion and Oliver Jerome. His love also shone through in his relationship with his fiancée, Sonia Barbosa of Randolph. Alongside his immediate family, Tou Tou will be lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who were drawn to his warm and caring nature.
Tou Tou's dedication to education began at Randolph High School and carried into a fulfilling professional life. For more than 25 years, he worked as a Customer Service Representative at Atrius Health in Dedham, where his kindness, patience, and friendly demeanor endeared him to both colleagues and patients alike.
Outside of work, Tou Tou was known for his passions. A true car enthusiast, he took pride in buying, restoring, and enjoying cars, often sharing his love of automobiles through local car clubs. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan, cheering faithfully for his hometown team. Yet, his greatest joy came from the simple but profound moments-spending time with family and friends, filling every gathering with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Those who knew Tou Tou describe him as loving, kind, and endlessly generous-qualities that only begin to reflect the depth of his spirit. His radiant smile, welcoming presence, and open heart left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Tou Tou's life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and family. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. McStevens "Tou Tou" Leonard will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved
