Talia Jade "TaTa" Zamanian, of Randolph, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully at her home on September 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with a rare salivary gland cancer, at the young age of 36. Born on September 10, 1988, in Boston, Talia's infectious enthusiasm and kind spirit were evident from an early age. She grew up in a nurturing home, the beloved daughter of Lynn Averett and her husband Arthur of Randolph, and her father Afshin Zamanian, also of Randolph. Talia's warmth and generosity of spirit extended to her devoted sister, Julia Zamanian of Weymouth, and her loving fiancé, Kevin Oakes of Attleboro, with whom she shared a profound and beautiful bond.
Talia's educational journey was marked by her natural leadership and passion for learning. A proud graduate of Randolph High School, she served as Class Vice President in 2006. Her academic prowess and dedication to her studies took her to the halls of UMass Boston, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in English and Sociology in 2010. During her time at UMass, Talia's adventurous spirit led her to study abroad at Oxford University in the UK, an experience that broadened her horizons and deepened her appreciation for cultures around the world.
Professionally, Talia was an esteemed indoor Sales Representative for Burke Distributors in Randolph. Her ten-year tenure with the company was marked by unwavering hard work and dedication, which did not go unrecognized. Talia's professional achievements included numerous awards, recognition, travel, and bonuses, a testament to her commitment and talent in her field.
Talia's passions were as diverse as they were profound. She was an ardent music lover, with a particular fondness for the band Alabama Shakes. Her love for the ocean was unmatched, and she found solace and joy in the rhythm of the waves at the beach. A globetrotter at heart, Talia's love for travel took her to many corners of the world, enriching her life with experiences and memories. As an avid sports fan, she cheered with vigor for her favorite teams, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.
Creativity flowed through Talia's veins, whether she was creating art or reveling in the beauty of others' works. Her artistic talents were evident, but it was through writing that Talia truly shone. Her prose was reflective of her depth of feeling and her ability to capture the essence of the human spirit. Talia's writing was not only a gift to herself but to all who had the privilege of reading her words.
Above all, Talia cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She nurtured her relationships with the same care and attention that she applied to every aspect of her life. Talia's legacy is one of love, kindness, and creativity, qualities that she embodied fully and that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Talia's life was a melody of joy, compassion, and artistry. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to guide and uplift us. As we say farewell to Talia, we celebrate the extraordinary life she led and the countless ways in which she touched our lives. Her memory will be treasured forever, a lasting tribute to a remarkable woman whose light shone brightly in the lives of so many.
