I had the good fortune to work with Norm as he supported the Association of the US Army's First Region, for several years as a staff member and finally as the AUSA First Region President. There was never a task that Norm could not perform and he was personally responsible for the good reputation Raytheon had with the US Army. He organized and managed the Raytheon Running Team and it won the Corporate Division of the Army Ten Mile Race every year for 20 years. Norm was a very dedicated and hard-working executive and he always ensured that people focused on the individual soldiers who make up our fighting forces. I will miss him especially when AUSA conducts the annual meeting and the Army Ten Miler.

I met Norm and Connie when they were selling their previous home here in Westford. They were kind enough to let me represent them as their agent. A few years later when my family joined the United Methodist church, I found out that he and his family, too, were members of the church.
One of the things that I enjoyed was our conversation, though brief, were positive and quite good.
