Obituary published on Legacy.com by Athy Memorial Home - Worcester on Oct. 8, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Paige O'Hara Dawson, 24, of New York City and Paxton, Massachusetts passed away from an epileptic seizure on October 5, 2025.
Paige leaves her parents, Peter and Maura Anne Dawson of Paxton. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Janet Donahue of Cherry Valley. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, John P. Donahue, and her paternal grandparents, Paul and Rita Dawson. She is also survived by uncles and aunts James P. and Elaine Dawson of Vero Beach, Florida, Paul G. and Maryellen Dawson of Pauley's Island, South Carolina, John J. and Lori Dawson of Chelmsford, Eileen Donahue of Spencer, Jack Donahue and his partner, Rich Carson of Boston, Tim and Heather Donahue of Cherry Valley and Thomas Donahue of Cherry Valley. She is also survived by multiple caring cousins.
Paige was a proud graduate of Bancroft School (2019) where she participated in many sports. She was the recipient of the Head of School Award which is presented each year to the graduating senior who left a lasting impression on the Head of School. After high school she continued her academic career at the University of Michigan (2023) and New York University (2025). Paige flourished both academically and socially at each of these institutions. While at the University of Michigan, Paige was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She formed some of her closest and enduring friendships-connections that followed her from Ann Arbor to New York and became some of the most meaningful in her life. Paige was employed by Ascendant Detox Drug and Alcohol Rehab of New York City. While only on the job for a short time, Paige loved her work and her co-workers. She always wanted to make a difference in people's lives. Always looking to assist and help the downtrodden.
Except for the summer of 2025, Paige spent every summer in Ogunquit, Maine. She loved the town, the Marginal Way and especially Ogunquit Beach. She made many lifelong friends in Ogunquit.
Paige's smile and personality were infectious, and she would light up any room that she entered. She exuded happiness and modeled kindness everywhere she went. When Paige spoke with you, she made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Paige will be deeply missed.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours for Paige on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 3 to 6 p.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church. Burial will be private. Paige will be buried in her beloved Ogunquit.
In lieu of flowers, please witness a sunrise or a sunset. Paige loved both. When you witness one, please remember Paige.
