Peter C Hanneman

Peter Curtis Hanneman, 45, of Marinette passed away unexpectedly the evening of May 11, 2025. He was born on November 8, 1979, in Marinette, WI, son of Melvin R. Hanneman II and Lois (Long) now Walters. Peter graduated from Peshtigo High School, class of 1999. He followed in his father's footstep of becoming an auto mechanic. He was employed as head mechanic at RSI Automotive in Marinette, WI. On July 8, 2007, Peter married Bonnie Spitzer, welcoming Bonnie's children: Jasmine, Ethan, and Brett, which he loved as his own. He and Bonnie would have their daughter, Jada. Peter enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching movies, wrenching cars, and ice cream.
Peter is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children: Jada Hanneman, Jasmine (Kyle) Deming, Ethan (Brooke Bradshaw) Whiting, and Brett (Henli Reiswitz) Whiting; parents, Lois (Gary) Walters and Melvin (Ellen) Hanneman II; siblings: Rob (Nancy) Hanneman; Beth (Ben) Bockhop, Kate (Jake) Wagner, and Kent (Sarah) Hanneman; Bonnie's parents, Fran and Annette Spitzer; sister in laws, Lisa and Melissa Spitzer; maternal aunts and uncle: Nancy and Becky Long, and Frank Sutterfield; paternal aunt and uncle, Sandy (Jeff) Carlson and Scott Hanneman; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Merlin and Marcella Long; paternal grandparents, Melvin (Karen) Hanneman I and Carol Rosner; paternal uncle, Kenneth Hanneman; and maternal aunts and uncle: Rose (Rank) Sutterfield, Diane, Irene, and Barry Long.
Entombment will be in Forest Home Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
