Richard Lee Stottmann of Louisville passed on June 11. He was at peace under Hosparus care. He was a graduate of Trinity High School 1964, University of Kentucky BS 1969, University of Louisville MBA 1972.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Brown Stottmann; son Andrew Richard Stottmann (Julie Lynn Stottmann); step-daughter's Barbara Ann Hurt (Andrew Snyder Hurt) and Sarah Morris McCauley; grandchildren Tate Andrew Stottmann (Molly Rosina Stottmann); Aaron Lee Stottmann; Baxter Robinson Hurt and Roman Everest Powers; great-grandchildren Adalric Tate Stottmann and Evalina Anneliese Stottmann.
Memorial service 12:30pm Monday, June 16, 2025, at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane.
Visitation from 10:30am to 12:30pm Monday.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hosparushealth.org.
Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's, "Where Louisville Goes to Remember" To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Richard, please visit our floral store.

Rich and I were roommates at UK and hung out together during our colllege days. I lost track of him after college. I remember that he was a nice young man and would do anything for anyone who needed help. I am so sorry to hear about his death. My sincere sympathy to his family.
