Robert "Bob" Eugene Farmer, 73, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Bob was born on July 25, 1951, in Winchester, Illinois, to Lonnie and Betty (Brown) Farmer, the only child. Bob graduated from Raytown High School in 1969. Shortly after graduation, Bob hit the open road and began a lifelong career as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession he dedicated himself to for over 40 years before retiring.
On July 3, 1994, Bob married Rhonda Kay Robinson in Bates City, Missouri. He is survived by his son, Lonnie Farmer, and wife Quiana of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and his daughter, Janet Jones, and Donavan of Raymore, Missouri. Bob was a grandfather to Dakota, Jordyn, Neveah, Cheyenne, Dawson, Mackyzine, Emma, and Brantley, and a great-grandfather to Kingsleigh, Walker, Bryer, Ivy, Nasir, Noah, and Calflynn.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Betty Farmer, and a great-grandson, Dawson.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
