Bob was born on June 11, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert A. Lyon and Marjorie L. (Davis) Lyon.
He is survived by his brothers, Ron Lyon (Jan) and David Lyon (Rhonda); nieces and nephews, Nicholas Lyon, Amanda Ausloos, Kelly Cochran, Randy Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Laura Lopez and Maria Pineda. He was preceded in passing by his parents.
Bob was a 1974 graduate of Southport High School.
He retired from AT&T after many years of dedicated service.
Bob was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He was a lover of music: attending many concerts and collecting albums.
Rev. Kevin Davis will conduct a celebration of life service on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street (U.S. 31) in Franklin. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date.
