Ronald Berry, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 16, 2025. He was born on October, 4, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Marvin and Joan (Burrows) Berry.
Ron dedicated 31 years of service to General Motors, working as a WEMR at the Truck and Bus plant before retiring. He and wife, Wilma, spent eight memorable years living in Florida together. They then returned to Indiana to live close to family.
In his earlier years, Ron enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley, hobbies that brought him much joy and freedom.
Ron was a fan of the classic TV show Hee Haw, and more recently, NCIS, and appreciated all kinds of music, finding joy in its many forms. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his wife, Wilma Berry; his son, Ron (Michele) Berry, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Senters; stepchildren, Tammy (DJ) Tschetter, Tracy (Tim) Allen, and Tony Jones; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a great grandson due in December.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Berry; sister, Debbie Lowrence; and step son, Rick Jones.
Join us to celebrate Ron's life on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
Ronald will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
