Samantha Kaye McBride

Samantha Kaye McBride of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away from this life far too soon on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 41. Samantha was born in Moore on December 6, 1981, the daughter of David Lynn Kime and Kristi Kay (Killian) Kime. She grew up in Moore and was active in the Moore Soccer Club as a young girl, playing soccer for Moore Spirit. Samantha graduated from Westmoore High School with the Class of 2000.
On September 21, 2001, Samantha married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Jason Wayne McBride, in a lovely ceremony in Moore. They started their family right away, and Samantha became a doting mother to three children, first Kylie, then Kaden, and finally, Khloe.
Known to always be bubbly, happy, and full of energy, Samantha always ensured that her family was safe, happy, and well-taken care of. Her family were her entire world, and Samantha treasured nothing more than time spent with her husband and children, and later, her granddaughter, whom she utterly adored. She thrived during family get-togethers, especially when board games were involved, and for many years, Samantha hosted lively family game nights at her home, winning many games of Munchkin over the years. She was generous and loyal, spending much of her time and energy helping other people. Samantha's friends always knew that if they needed her help, they could go to her, no questions asked. More than anything, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister who was devoted to the wellbeing of everyone she cared about. Samantha will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by an aunt, Pamela Gayle, her paternal grandparents, Mavis and Leonard Kime, and her maternal grandparents, Willis and Isabel Killian.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years, Jason McBride; her three beloved children, Kylie M. McBride-Rudkin and her husband Jared, Kaden M. McBride, and Khloe M. McBride; her granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Rudkin; her loving parents, David L. Kime, and Kristi Killian-Kime; her brother, Jeffrey D. Kime and his wife Brittany; her brother-in-law, Travis McBride and his wife Cody; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
