Scott Clukey, 53, of Plattsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2025.
He was born in Plattsburgh on March 9,1971, the son of late Gary and Brenda (Chamberlain) Clukey.
Scott was a talented person who was mechanically inclined. He had a good understanding of small engine basics and demonstrated a good grasp of their components and how they worked together in order to function properly. Scott was known as someone to help friends or family with his skills whenever he was needed. He who would always be there to help others and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Survivors include his son, Scott Clukey, Jr., step-son Shawn Stefaniak, step-daughter Leona Stefaniak, and step-grandchildren, Bryce Stefaniak and Konnor Stefaniak; brother, Gary Clukey, Jr.; sisters, Lori Hoover (Mike) Isabelle Whitney, Melissa Cudworth (Mike) Denise Mullee (Brian); many nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and close friends.
Scott was predeceased by his father and mother, Gary and Brenda Clukey; and his sister, Brenda Woodward.
The family is planning a graveside service in the spring of 2025.
