Tad James Christophersen, 40, passed away on June 10, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on October 29, 1983 to Peter and Ellen Christophersen.
After graduating from Appleton East High School, Tad pursued a career as a foreman at Americold Logistics. He was known for his strong work ethic and good sense of humor. Tad was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. He also had a strong passion for motorcycles and cars.
On August 8, 2008, Tad married the love of his life, Sarah Haufe. Together, they shared many cherished memories and supported each other through all of life's ups and downs. Tad was a loving father who had a funny and spontaneous personality. While we mourn his untimely passing, we also celebrate the life he lived.
Tad is survived by wife Sarah; daughters Emma (Kayland), Anna (Ethan), Janelle and Katelyn; parents Peter and Ellen; brother Adam; father and mother-in-law Randy and Janet Haufe; sisters-in-law Cassie (Crystal) Haufe and Angel (Steve) Saldivar; godfather Floyd Zopfi and many other relatives and friends. Tad is preceded in death by Patricia Zopfi.
Tad’s family would like to thank the entire staff of the intensive care unit at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for their compassion and care.
