Vladan "William" Pavlovic

Dr. Vladan (William) Pavlovic, 84 years old, born December 19, 1939 in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia, died November 8, 2024 in Libertyville, Illinois. Dr. Pavlovic was a graduate of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Belgrade, and also pursued a medical degree at the University of Belgrade prior to emigrating to the United States in 1976 to pursue his dreams of freedom and prosperity. Two years later, his wife and children followed him and settled in Chicago. In addition to building a thriving dental practice, Vladan also was a successful real estate entrepreneur and truly embodied the American Dream. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, commitment to family, and entrepreneurial success, and serves as a continuing inspiration to his children, their families, and his grandchildren.
Vladan was beloved father to Dr. Bojan Pavlovic (Daca Pavlovic) and Dr. Maja Sukovic (Jerrick Malinin), and beloved grandfather to nine grandchildren: Marko Sukovic; Luka Sukovic; Maxim Pavlovic; Aleksa Sukovic; Matea Pavlovic; Melanija Pavlovic; Anastasija Sukovic; Mikhail Pavlovic; and Mane Pavlovic. He was preceded by his wife Dr. Jelica Pavlovic (Popovic), his grandson Damajan Sukovic, brother Dmitrija Pavlovic, and parents Svetoslav Pavlovic and Milunka Pavlovic.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a pomen service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Basil of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Church, 27450 N. Bradley Rd. Lake Forest, IL. Interment will follow at St. Sava Cemetery in Libertyville.
