Zach Murphy Obituary
Zach Murphy, 30, of Coralville, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 30, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Zach was born December 8, 1994, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Paul Murphy and Karrie (Weyant) Mullen. He attended Iowa City High School and later received care and support through REM Iowa Day Center in Hiawatha, Iowa. Zach loved Barney, playing on the playground, and riding the horse carousel at Coral Ridge Mall. He was a happy kid with an infectious smile who was loved by all.
Survivors include his mother, Karrie (Mark) Mullen of Cedar Rapids; father, Paul (Lori) Murphy of Moultonborough, New Hampshire; and siblings, Joshua Murphy, Katie Landaverde, Kelsey Murphy, Deon Mullen, and Ryan Mullen.
