Charles Robert Singleton, 89 a former resident of Shreveport, LA, died October 8, 2016 in Kingwood, TX. He and his wife had resided in Kingwood for the past 38 years. Preceding in death was his beloved wife, Bobbie J. Singleton on July, 4 2016. Mr. Singleton served in the United States Army during W.W.II. He retired in 1985 from Texas Eastern Transmission where he was employed for 42 years. He is survived by his two children, Rene' Bowlin and Mike Singleton of Kingwood, TX. Three grandchildren: Blaine Bowlin (Amanda) of Kingwood, TX, Joshua Singleton of Bossier City, LA., Christy Black (Joel) of Shreveport, LA.
