Alfonso J. D'aniello 95, of Easton, formerly of Franklin passed away on Saturday October7th, 2023 after a brief illness. Al was born on May 7, 1928. The son of Joseph and Agnes D'anielllo, and the beloved husband of Joan Ellen (Powers) D'aniello. He was the father of Joseph of Plainville, Stephen of Franklin, Robert of South Carolina, Mark of Milford, Cathy Burns of Pennsylvania, Diane Rogers of West Medway and father of the late Paul D'aniello who went to God on June 3rd, 1995. Al was most active in Church activities. He was an alter boy, sang in the choir and was a member of the Legion of Mary. Al was made an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus of the Sacred Heart council 1847. He was a knight for over 55 years. As a member of the confraternity of the most Holy Rosary, Al made hundreds of rosary beads for the missions in South America.
At Franklin high school, Al was president of his class and a member of the football team. After graduation Al attended Boston College and received a bachelors of Science degree in Biology. After 34 years in education Al shifted his focus to psychology. He applied and was accepted to a position working for the department of Mental Health at the Wrentham State School.
