FABRIZIO, Donald P. of Newton, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at the age of 73, with his family by his side. Loving husband of Lisa (Daley) Fabrizio, devoted father of Patrick, Wesley, and Nicholas. Brother of Patricia Fabrizio Malkasian and her husband Robert and Gia Fabrizio Nicolazzo and her husband Charles, and the late Anthony Fabrizio. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Don was a lifelong resident of Newton where he was lovingly raised by his late parents Patrick and Marie Fabrizio. He attended Newton South High School, earned an undergraduate business degree from Boston College, and later received a Masters of Business Administration from Babson College.

Don made many of his contributions to the Newton community as an entrepreneur. His journey began in accounting, where his strong financial skills laid the foundation for his future successes. Through his ownership of Buff's Pub, he helped build the business for over 45 years, creating a well-loved community staple. In addition, he developed homes throughout Newton, managed various real estate ventures, and pursued many other successful business endeavors.

His ambition was not limited to his business-efforts but also doing right by those around him. He mentored many, saw the best in everyone, and contributed to the world around him in subtle yet impactful ways. His quiet acts of kindness and unwavering will to do right by those in need made a lasting difference in our community.

Funeral services are to be held at Our Lady Help of Christian Parish on Friday, August 2nd. A brief gathering will take place at the back of Our Lady's at 10AM, followed by a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Burial to follow in Newton Cemetery.

Commemorating Don means acknowledging the extraordinary team at Dana Farber and The Brigham & Women's Hospital, who stopped at nothing to provide him care and comfort in his battle against cancer. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to Don's Giving Page via The Jimmy Fund, entitled "In Memory of Don Fabrizio" http://danafarber.jimmyfund.org/goto/Fabrizio
