Gregory Rhine Obituary
Gregory Lee Rhine, 73, of Lima, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Springview Manor. He was born on November 13, 1951 in Lima to the late Kenneth and Eleanor {Brumfield} Rhine.
He graduated from Bath High School in 1970 where he was in Boys Glee and Mixed Chorus, and played football, basketball, and was a member of Beta Beta Beta. Gregory graduated from Ohio State University in Computer Science with a specialty in P.C. and main frames. He worked for I.B.M. for over 30 years. He was sent by I.B.M. around the country to large businesses such as Wal-Mart Headquarters, National Bank of Detroit, etc. He loved to read, especially Stephen King, once taking a trip to drive by his estate. Gregory had a love for traveling.
He is survived by his sister: Stephanie Rhine (Mike Kiracofe), Lima, brothers: Steve (Sue) Rhine, Tucson, AZ and Kevin Rhine, Lima, and nieces: Heather, Alexis, Holly, and Hailey.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
