Heather Dawn Miller, 44, of High View, WV, passed away from a long sickness on Sunday, September 29, 2024, with her family by her side.
Heather was born on March 6, 1980, in Winchester, VA. She was a 1999 graduate of Sherando High School in Stephens City, worked previously as an assistant manager for McDonald's and volunteered for the Shelter of Abused Women both located in Winchester. Heather enjoyed computer programing, fishing, crafting, riding 4-wheelers on the farm, but most of all doing anything that allowed her to spend time with her family.
Heather married Daniel N. Miller on March 2, 2003, in Gore, VA.
Surviving with her husband of 21 years are her children: Tyler Miller of Green Spring, WV (Stephanie); Aden Miller, Olivia Miller and Zachary Miller all of High View, WV; her in-laws: Daniel E. and Emma J. Miller of High View, WV; her sister-in-law: Jessica M. Miller (Jason) of Capon Bridge, WV; her nephews: Sean King and Bentley Jennings and a special adopted sister: Beth Omundsen-Ott.
A celebration of Heather's life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory at 7 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
