Lucy Altland Obituary

Lucy attended Hanover Senior High School and was employed as a cook at Homewood Retirement Center for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, baking, and watching Nascar races.
She is survived by a daughter Lori Altland of Hanover, sons Terry Altland of Hanover and Jeff Altland of York, a sister Jeannette Hart and husband Larry of Hanover, daughter-in-law Sharon Altland of Hanover, grandsons Cody Altland of Hanover and Brandon Altland of Chambersburg, granddaughters Sommer Hoffman of Purcellville, VA and Alexa Altland of Yardley, PA, great-grandchildren Kendall Altland, Braxton Altland and Haley Hoffman, nephews David Hart and Matthew Hart, and sister-in-law Jody Altland and husband Ken of York. She was predeceased by a son Allen Altland.
Following cremation, a celebration of Lucy's life will be held in private by her family.
For those desiring, memorial contributions to honor Lucy's life may be made to the York County SPCA or to the Visiting Nurse Association, 440 Madison St., Hanover.
