Marion E. Newhart

Marion E. Newhart (Mimi), age 90, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on April 11, 2025 after a brief illness.
Marion graduated from Hamilton High School West, received her bachelor's degree from Temple University, and later graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at Sacks-Wilner Medical practice, and retired from the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services after many years of service. A devoted Christian, Marion was very active in her church, Christ Presbyterian Church of Hamilton, where she served for many years as Co-Superintendent of the Sunday School, and later as Church Treasurer and Organist.
Marion loved animals and was a dedicated supporter of many animal charities. She was the loving companion to many cats throughout her life. Marion loved to travel and visited many wonderful places, such as England, Egypt, Jerusalem, Japan, Alaska, and Hawaii. Our family is very blessed to have had such a close relationship with her for so many years. She was a cherished and beloved daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt and will be immensely missed.
Marion is survived by her sister, Roberta Sutton (Bobbi) of Hamilton, NJ; her niece, Stacey Forrester of East Windsor, NJ; and her beloved great-nephews, Drew Forrester and Kyle Forrester of East Windsor, NJ. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Muriel Newhart; and her brother-in-law, Robert Sutton. She will also be greatly missed by her dear friends, the Beadles and the Harbecks, who are like family to her.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Shana Chiacchio officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
