Mary Jo Loy, 72, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away October 23, 2025. Born June 22, 1953, she was adopted and raised by the late Wilson and Helen (Shaw) Voyles in Anderson, where she lived most of her life.
Mary Jo was a proud graduate of Madison Heights High School in Anderson. She later earned a degree in Office Management and also pursued additional education in Religious Studies.
For more than 30 years, Mary Jo worked as the Office Coordinator for Dr. Paresh Shah, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and compassion toward patients and coworkers alike. She retired earlier this year after a long and fulfilling career.
Mary Jo married her loving husband, Paul Loy. The two shared many years together before he preceded her in death. Her family and friends remember Mary Jo for her humor, her steady faith, and the way she made people feel cared for and important.
Mary Jo was a woman of deep faith and attended Main Street Church of God in Anderson, where she took part in many church activities and built lasting friendships within her church family.
Outside of work and church, Mary Jo loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader who loved spending time outdoors, taking walks in the park, and participating in 5Ks. She also had a passion for arts and crafts, sewing, and quilting-often creating thoughtful gifts that reflected her caring heart.
