Megan Pamela Oldenburg, 39, of Saylorsburg, Pa, died Thursday October 24th as a result of automobile accident in Chestnuthill Township.
Megan was born in Huntington Hospital in Long Island, NY and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served a Mission in San Fernando Valley, California and attended Brigham Young University in Idaho. She later completed a Master Esthetician School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was an experienced equestrian rider in Dressage and Hunter Jumpers; was awarded the Eastern States Junior Dressage Champion; and worked at her trainer, Jane Lucrezzi's barn.
Surviving are her parents, Kevin and Joyce Oldenburg of Saylorsburg, PA; husband, Justin Sunderland; 12 year old daughter, Sophia Sunderland; brother Patrick DeDonato; nephew, Brogan Hodge; and nieces, Kayla and Taylor DeDonato and Samantha Cacciatore, all from Long Island, NY.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Hodge.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3232 Sunrise Drive, Stroudsburg with visitation beginning at 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:30AM with Bishop Beebe officiating. Burial will follow at Custard's Cemetery in Bartonsville.
