Neva LaShae Fitzgerald

Neva LaShay Fitzgerlad was born June 8, 1993, in Columbus, Ohio to Dwan Lynice Fitzgerald (Youngstown) and Roy Lee Thompson (Columbus). God called her home on September 7th, 2022 at the sweet age of 29.
Neva was also known as Neva the Diva, her aunt Brenda affectionately called her Neva Boo, Neva Beva, and many more. She attended Beck Elementary, Johnson Park Middle School, and South High School, where she once cheered and made Homecoming Queen "2011." To know Neva is to love her. She was a true queen. Many that know her, know she was funny; she could make a room cry with how funny she was. She was also loyal, real, loving, caring, and smart. She attended Miami Jacobs, where she graduated as a dental assistant. Neva was a beautiful woman inside and out. She loved to live life. She loved to make you laugh and she loved to cook.
She loved her family and friends. She loved those who loved her. Neva also has three children: Noah, Nymier, and Naomi, whom she loved so very much. She would go above and beyond for her kids and no one can take that away from her. She called Noah (my heart) Nymier (mier butt), and Naomi (Princess). Becoming a mother was one of her amazing blessings. Neva was an embodiment of what it means to live, laugh, and love.
Neva is welcomed home by her father, Roy Thompson; Brother, Nicholas Thompson; Uncle, Justiss Wiggins; Grandmother, Minnie Hearing; and Grandfather, Roy Thompson Sr.
Neva leaves memories to go on through her three children: Noah Fitzgerald, Nymier Russell, and Naomi Russell; Grandmother, Geneva Wiggins; Mother, Dwan Fitzgerald; Aunt, Brenda; Aunt, Doris; Uncle, Leroy; Four sisters: Nicole Thompson, Nikia Fitzgerald, Nikyla Fitzgerald, and Stephenie Mikell; Soul Sister/Bestie, Taahira; Brother, Stephen Mikell; Nine nephews: Nehemiah, Nawani, Nicholas (Niko), Dezmenn Jr., Isaiah, Elijah, Terrag, Nasser, and Aamin; Seven nieces: Nikyi, Markaylah, Nymani, Na'Riyah, Noelle, and Aleena. A host of cousins: Jalen, Robert, Brooklyn, Justiss, Jermain, Azon, Ayana, Jamar, Domineeke, and many more.
