Pasquale C Cifelli

Pasquale (Pat) C. Cifelli, 89, of Cranford, NJ, formerly of Union, NJ, passed peacefully on July 17, 2025. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Pat moved to Union in 1963 where he lived before moving to Cranford in 2020. He is a graduate of Central High School in Newark.
After high school Pat served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960, then in the Army Reserves until 1964. After the service, Pat was a bus driver for New Jersey Transit for forty years, retiring twenty five years ago. He was an avid sports fan. Pat loved the New York Yankees and Notre Dame football. He also enjoyed taking care of his yard, relaxing with jigsaw puzzles, taking long walks around Union, and traveling on family trips to places like upstate New York and Mackinac Island, MI. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Union.
Pat is predeceased by his beloved wife Lucille, his parents Carmine and Beatrice Valentino Cifelli, and his brother Theodore (Ted) Cifelli. He is survived by his children – Linda Cifelli, Paul and his wife Christie, and Carol De Angelis – and three grandchildren, Anthony, Jay, and Jaxon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 9:15 am from the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union, N.J., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Union. Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 24th from 2 pm to 5 pm.
