Robert (Robbie) J. Diaz passed away suddenly on November 6, 2023. He was born on August 18, 1986, to Christine Adams and Richard Diaz.
Robbie had a fearless spirit and was willing to take risks to pursued life's opportunities. While concern and worry may have accompanied him on some of these journeys, we cannot deny the passion and courage that fueled his pursuit of life's adventures. Robbie confronted challenges head-on with an unwavering determination to live life to its fullest.
Robbie was known for his love and commitment to his many friends and his family. He was not just an adventurer; he was also a protector, always looking out for the well-being of his loved ones. He had a deep affection for animals, especially his beloved dog, Skittles.
Robbie graduated from Vernon Hills High School and found his calling as a paralegal at his family's law firm.
He is survived by his parents, his brothers Richard (Rickie) S. Diaz, and Joseph (Joey) D. Sutherland, his grandfather, Robert J. Adams Jr., his grandmothers Joyce Ann Magnuson, and Marta Jensen, and a very large extended family including a great nephew, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, plus a great many friends.
A memorial service will take place November 18, 2023, where we will celebrate
Robbie's life and the indelible mark he left on all of us. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rte. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. Memorial Contributions may be made to Wright-Way Rescue at www.wright-wayrescue.org.
