Robert (Bob) Duffy, 64, of Hinckley Ohio, passed away on October 29, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Born in Butler, PA but mainly growing up in Ohio, Bob graduated from Hudson High School and earned a degree from The University of Akron. Bob had a long-distinguished career in sales that afforded him many opportunities and many adventures. Having visited over 32 countries, he was a world traveler, making friends and memories all along the way. He truly enjoyed eating local cuisines and taking in the cultures and customs at each new location.
He will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving, caring, and all-around great guy who was quick to share his sense of humor. He was also great at building just about anything and would always be willing to lend anyone a helping hand. Bob was a friend to so many people and will be missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Bernice Duffy; his loving children Mathew (Samantha) Duffy, Dan James, and Michelle (Corey) Duncan; his beloved father Tom Duffy; his sister Jennifer (Brian) Borawiec; brother in law Kenny Daywalt; his cherished grandchildren Jessie James, Alexa Duffy, Jordan (Angie) James, Kaylie James, Andrew Duffy, Nathaniel Duncan, Alden Duffy, Kaitlyn Duncan, Abigail Duffy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Duffy, his son Jason Duffy and his sister Debbie Daywalt.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Monday November 7, 2022, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3000 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday November 8, 2022, at 10:00AM at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church 3100 Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
