Samantha Skinner Obituary
A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, friend, and Christian.
Sam was born on November 16, 1995 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was the second of three children but was always the one others looked up to most. She had a strong faith in Jesus, was always sharing bible verses with others to lift their spirit, and shared kindness in all she did. Sam was always close with not only her siblings but her cousins as well. Her outlook on life was always positive and she was always inspiring others to be their best.
She graduated from Clawson High School in 2013. She married the love of her life, Kyle Skinner on August 26, 2023 and became a step-mom of Roman. Kyle and Sam were blessed with another child of their own, Marley. She loved being a mom and truly cherished her family.
Sam will be greatly missed by a large family who loved her dearly as well as many friends and all who crossed her path.
Beloved wife of Kyle for two years. Loving mother of Marley and step-mother of Roman. Cherished daughter of Donald Cupp (Mailyn) and Karen Bamsey. Dear sister of Joseph Cupp and Stephanie Cupp. Granddaughter of Joseph Bamsey (the late Sandra) and the late Ray and the late Shirley Cupp. Daughter-in-law of David Skinner (Darcy) and Tracy Lezotte (Steve). Also survived by her "sister by nature" Rusty Walker as well as other cousins, and also her cats Lily and Tinkerbutt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 12:00pm-8:00pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home (Price Chapel) 3725 Rochester Rd. Troy, MI 48083.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00am at Troy Christian Chapel 400 E. Long lake Rd. Troy, MI 48085. Visitation begins at the church at 10:00am.
Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
