Thomas Bobrowicz

Thomas Bobrowicz, 72, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday June 5, 2022. He was born in Erie on December 27, 1949, the son of the late Anthony M. and Regina Modzelewski Bobrowicz.
Survivors include his beloved partner of over 30 years, Ruth Dickerman Bennett; two sons, Thomas Bobrowicz (Dawn) of Wattsburg and Jason Bobrowicz (Melissa) of Harborcreek; four grandchildren; Jason Bobrowicz, Kaitlynn Bobrowicz, Emily Bretz (Tyler), and Thomas Bobrowicz III; one sister, Bridget Johnston (David) of Latrobe, PA. Also devastated by his sudden passing are his Dickerman brothers and sisters; Jonathan Dickerman (Cindy), Mary VanGuilder (Bob) both of Erie; Steve Dickerman (Sandy) of Indiana PA; Esther Henninger (David) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Tom graduated from Wattsburg High School and worked at General Electric for over 35 years before retiring in 2003. His job with GE took him all over the world and he was able to experience things that most never will. He was an avid golfer who loved to fish and hunt and spend time at his camp near Canadohta Lake.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at Mound Grove Golf Course, 10760 Donation Rd, Waterford, PA 16441, on Sunday June 12th from 1:00-5:00 with food and drinks provided. Masks are appreciated. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16511, or to a charity of one's choice. Also, Tom would like everyone to share random acts of kindness whenever opportunities present themselves.
