Beau Joseph St. Pierre, 43, of Granbury TX died of complications due to leukemia on April 24, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Cori Gertson St. Pierre and children Charlotte and Clinton; parents Cindi and Rene St. Pierre(Burleson, TX); brother Nathan St. Pierre, wife Danielle(Snohomish, WA); mother in law Elisa Adams(Ft. Worth, TX); mother in law Susan Gertson(Eagle Lake, TX); brother in law Matt Gertson, wife Jolynn(League City, TX); nephews and niece Wyatt St. Pierre, and Caden and Taylor Gertson; aunts Lisa Sowell and Debra Christine; uncles Mike White, Mike Cook, Keith St. Pierre, and Peter Freytag; great Aunt Caroline Peters and numerous other beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Beau is preceded in death by his godfather Paul Freytag, his grandparents: Jauniece and Roland White, Lillian Anderson, and René St. Pierre; as well as his father-in-law Gayle Gertson and brother-in-law SPC. Clinton Gertson.
Beau was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on January 4, 1981. He grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and Colorado but he became the man he was as a proud Texan. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in the BSA with Troop 109. He graduated from Aledo High School and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University with honors. Thereafter, he met the love of his life, Cori, and shared his life with her and their two children and two generations of loving family dogs. Together they built a home that warmed all around them. He was a loyal and dedicated CAM/Automation and Simulation Supervisor with Ulterra Drilling Technologies where he worked for over a decade.
Beau's priority in life was to be the best husband, father, and son. He showed up for his family by taking them on golf cart rides around the neighborhood, attending sporting events, and tucking the kids into bed every night. On the weekends, Beau enjoyed spending time with his parents on their ranch where they fed the fish, walked the garden, swam in the pool, and helped with the upkeep of the land. He would finish those days with an Afunte cigar and glass of scotch while grilling with his Dad.
Beau lived life the way he saw fit, which was always thoroughly contemplated and unabashedly practical. He spent his down time improving himself, learning, growing, and helping those around him do the same. He was a true lover of nature and the outdoors, in spite of being allergic to almost all of it. He was blessed and cursed with a knack for machines. He had a gift with finding humor in even the darkest parts of life to lighten the burdens of everyone else. He would never accept the easy answers, but he always knew how to accept the world and those in it as they came. His natural curiosity and patience live on in everyone who met him.
In lieu of flowers, please donate blood to honor the gift that gave him a fighting chance, or monetary donations can be made to the American Cancer Society/ Leukemia And Lymphoma Society in memory of Beau.

In 1998 Bo, Nathan and their dad showed up at daylight with a large horse trailer and helped us move everything to our new home 1 mile away. We worked until dark. Never a complaint from any of the family. He learned at a young age from his dad to help/volunteer your friends and community.
