Dena Michelle Weber, 59 of Delta, Pennsylvania passed away on June 14, 2025. She was born July 31, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland and was predeceased by her parents, Dennis Paul "Denny" Weber, Sr. and Deloris Mary Testerman (nee Kidd).
Dena was the loving mother and best friend of Danielle Mary Gibson (nee Schocket), proud mother-in-law to Billy and the most loving "DeeDee" to her grandson William. Her family meant everything to her which was evident watching Dena with William, the way her face lit up and the way she poured her love into him. She was also the beloved middle sister to her siblings, Dennis Weber, Jr. (Debbie) and Dawn Weaver (Joel) (nee Weber), and loving aunt to Sarah, Matthew, Natalie, Josie, Christy, Megan, Emmi, and Jackson.
Dena graduated from North Harford High School in 1983, where she was a cheerleader and was on the gymnastics team with her brother, and was a friend to so many.
Dena had an incredible way of making people feel truly seen, like they mattered, like they belonged. She never judged anyone, and would befriend people from all walks of life. She had integrity, and she was kind. Professionally, she was driven and smart and she worked her way up through the banking world as a teller and in bookkeeping and accounting and into management positions. She loved plants and flowers, especially sunflowers. Sunflowers are bright, bold, and beautiful, just like she was.
Dena was a daddy's girl, and her grandmother Mary "Honey" Kidd was her maternal inspiration. Dena's strength, compassion, and intelligence lives on in her daughter. It's no secret that she struggled for some time with her health in various ways, and even in the hardest moments, Dena was loved and honored as Danielle cared for her mom.
If friends and family wish to honor and celebrate Dena's life, turn your music up and sing as loud as you can, be kind and sensitive to people that you meet, raise your drinks up and make a toast to Dena with a smile, and maybe plant a sunflower or think of her when you see one.
