Linda Josephine Meredith June 12th, 1952 – May 23rd, 2025 Linda Meredith, 72, of Southgate, KY, passed away at home on Friday, May 23rd surrounded by family and friends. Born on June 12th, 1952 to John and Lucille (Baker) McDonald, she grew up in Price Hill and graduated from Seton High School in 1970. She subsequently graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's 1974 and master's degree 1993 in nursing. Linda had a passion for caring for others, channeling that into a decades-long career as a dialysis nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital and a transplant coordinator at the Kidney and Hypertension Center before retiring in 2010. She was an active advocate for her patients to receive the best care possible and achieve the healthiest outcomes in their treatments. Linda also cared deeply for her family and friends – she was loyal and no-nonsense, with a willingness to get in the trenches when someone was suffering. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Meredith; her sons, Andrew (Katelyn) and Douglas (Jill) Meredith; her brother, Charles (Katie) McDonald; her grandchildren Kirstin, Ben, Noah, and Ellie; as well as seven nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 30th at 12:00PM at St Therese Church in Southgate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project.
