JR resided in Florida for most of his life. JR's education included nursery school at First Baptist Church, Saint Mary Catholic School for elementary, Destin Middle School and graduation from Fort Walton Beach High School. He also attended Auburn University.
He is survived by his parents, James Williams, Sr. and Angie Williams; and brother, Spencer Williams.
He had a passion and love for the outdoors; hunting, fishing, working on the farm, and enjoying a beautiful sunset. He loved the game of football, and was an outstanding athlete in his youth, and was a passionate Auburn and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a loving gentle soul, that always put others before himself. He cherished spending time with his family, and vacations on the lake or ocean.
He was a true fighter of life! When faced with the diagnosis of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, he was told he would never walk again; he defied those odds, and walked again. He believed in the power of the Lord, and James Williams, Jr. has a strong, beautiful, angel with him now; beloved by all.

JR, some of the best times of my life were with you and your family at hunt camp. This truly breaks my heart. I´ll be praying for your family to smile on the good times and cry with each other when needed. I´ll miss you JR!
