Beloved wife of Raymond J. "Ray" Mulacek, whom she married June 28, 1975, loving mother of Matthew (Vicki) Mulacek of Warrenville and Christiane (Chris) Lackey of Aurora, IL, adored grandmother of Austin (age 16) and Natalie (age 12), devoted daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel McKenzie, dear sister of the late Linda Ludwig and the late Debbie Snow, fond cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many.
Janet grew up in Downers Grove and was a graduate of Downers Grove South High School. A loving and devoted homemaker, Janet was a longtime member of St. Irene Catholic Church in Warrenville. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and entertaining.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 1, 10:00 AM at St. Irene Catholic Church, 28W441 Warrenville Rd, Warrenville, IL 60555, (630) 393-2400.
Interment will be private.
